Find comprehensive support, training, and instructional design services for Canvas — Penn’s learning management system — and related educational technologies. Through online resources, workshops, and one-on-one training, learn how to integrate Canvas and other digital learning tools meaningfully into your academic work.

As an instructor, you can set aside books, films, or sound recordings for class use through our Course Reserves service, and make articles or book excerpts available electronically on Canvas. Reserve lists typically include required and recommended course readings. Taking a class? Find out how to locate and use print and electronic materials that your instructor has put on reserve.

Penn faculty and staff can use Open Canvas for Penn Learners to create and host online courses and events for non-Penn-affiliated audiences. Courses and events created hosted by Open Canvas do not require a PennKey to attend.

Request items from our catalog, Franklin, for pick up from the library that is most convenient for you. Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center and the Dental Library offer the option to pick up at contact-free automated lockers (Dental lockers are available only for Dental students). You will have seven days to pick up your items once your request is ready.
