Mia manages the direction and operations of the Fisher Fine Arts Library. She has primary responsibility for instruction and outreach to students, faculty, and staff of the History of Art department and the Stuart Weitzman School of Design. She leads all aspects of Fine Arts Library collection development including special collections, working collaboratively with Fisher staff on collection management. As a subject librarian, Mia collaborates with colleagues within the Libraries and across campus, participating in Libraries initiatives to support authors and publishing and in cross-Libraries programming. 

Previously, Mia was Assistant Director of the Fisher Fine Arts Library. Prior to joining Penn Libraries, she worked at the University's Penn Program for Environmental Humanities, the New York Society Library, and the New York Botanical Garden, and served as a Kress Fellow in Art Librarianship at Yale University for the Arts Library & Center for British Art.

Mia holds an MLIS and graduate certificate in museum studies from the University of South Florida and a BFA in painting from the University of Florida. Her research interests include modern and contemporary art, history of the book and printing, natural history, and fashion history.
