The collection co-exists with strong collections in criminology, social policy & practice, and economics. Related materials are held at the Museum Library (cultural anthropology, ethnography, material culture), Fisher Fine Arts Library (urban design, city planning), and the Annenberg School Library (communication, media). A large collection of older works (the "Dewey 300s") at LIBRA is retrievable through the campus libraries.
