Orrery Society

The Orrery Society recognizes donors who support information resources at a leadership giving level. Orrery Society members serve as the Penn Libraries’ ambassadors for acquisitions and collection development, digitization, conservation, and librarian travel.

The Orrery Society has two major objectives:

1. To expand access to scholarly information through term and endowed support for acquisitions, digitization, and conservation, annual gifts in support of collections, and gifts of in-kind collections;
2. To expand University and alumni awareness of the importance information plays in helping the University achieve its scholarly mission.
