On July 6, Curator Dot Porter will bring out Ms. Codex 1640, an early 14th century English compendium of extracts, mostly from Biblical, patristic, and later Christian literature, categorized by subject with the subjects in alphabetical order, designed as a reference work for use in writing sermons.
