In this presentation, J.M. Duffin will discuss the diaries of Philadelphia banker Cornelius N. Weygandt and West Philadelphia homemaker Anna Rebecca Garland. These materials offer important insights into everyday life, plus firsthand accounts of notable events and people, in late nineteenth-century Philadelphia.
