This workshop will outline current scholarly communication practices, explore resources at Penn to review publishing options, and consider strategies for selecting journals in which to publish for research in the health sciences. You will learn the resources and tools that will aid in the selection and evaluation of journals, the influence of journal impact factors, and the implications of open-access publishing for your scientific work. Those interested in publishing in the health sciences will benefit most from this workshop.
