Special Event: Demystifying Publishing

Cosette Bruhns Alonso, Contemporary Publishing Fellow at Penn Libraries, and Jenny Tan, Acquisitions Editor Penn Press, will share steps and tips for publishing a book: from transforming your dissertation to writing a proposal, approaching editors as an early career scholar, and what actually happens between submitting your manuscript and publishing it with a university press. The workshop will focus primarily on conventional publishing while also introducing considerations for open access and born-digital publications.

This workshop is co-sponsored by the Wolf Humanities Center. RSVP is required for this event (in-person and online).
