Join us for a day of interdisciplinary events with speakers, discussions, curated documents from the Kislak Center, and hands-on projects. This day's session introduces the AI Literacy Interest Group and focuses on the basic concepts, legalities, & histories of Large Language Models.

This is a Multidisciplinary Tech Literacy Interest Group. Attendees are not required to use AI or study Machine Learning to drop by. There are no disciplinary bounds. The only prerequisites are curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. You are welcome to join us for particular sessions or for the entire event.

Learning Objectives

  • Talking about a range of topics in AI with confidence. 
  • Questioning the current systems in place critically. 
  • Understanding transdisciplinary connections with their understanding of AI. 
  • Participating in a dialogue as scholars, students, citizens, communities, policymakers, and the public at large.
